Program: Design and Environmental Analysis Cornell offers assistantships to support full-time Ph.D. and research master’s students through teaching or research roles. These include: Teaching Assistant (TA) Research Assistant (RA) Graduate Assistant (GA) Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) These roles contribute to the university’s academic mission while advancing the student’s education. Who Can Apply? Full-time Ph.D. and research master’s student International students are eligible but must complete a language assessment if English is not their first language and they wish to be a TA. What is Covered? Students on full assistantships receive: Stipend Full tuition credit at the research degree rate Cornell individual student health insurance Optional summer appointments or stipend supplements (depending on the field) Eligibility Criteria Must be a full-time Ph.D. or research master’s student Assigned by a department, field, or Principal Investigator (PI) Must work 15–20 hours/week, averaging no more than 15 hours/week for base stipend TAs must meet English proficiency requirements (if international) How to Apply No ...
